bottling
Putting in vessels
Bottling is the process of putting liquids into bottles for storage or sale: The winery handles bottling on-site.
In British slang, bottling is attacking someone with a broken bottle, or losing nerve at a crucial moment: He was accused of bottling it before the big match.
The emotional sense bottling up means suppressing feelings rather than expressing them.
