ring-pull
Beverage can lever
A ring-pull is the small metal tab attached to the top of a beverage can, lifted to open the can.
Early designs detached completely, creating litter and a choking hazard; modern versions stay attached to the lid.
Also called a pull tab.
She popped the ring-pull on a can of soda.
