blood pressure test
Arterial force measurement
A blood pressure test measures the force of blood against artery walls, typically using an inflatable cuff on the upper arm.
The reading gives two numbers: systolic pressure (when the heart beats) over diastolic pressure (when it rests between beats).
The nurse did a quick blood pressure test before my appointment.
