bilge pump
Boat water remover
A bilge pump removes water that collects in the bilge—the lowest interior part of a boat's hull where water naturally accumulates.
Most boats have at least one, either manual or electric, to prevent swamping: The bilge pump runs automatically when water reaches a certain level.
A failed bilge pump can sink a vessel.
