bichrome

Having two colors

Bichrome means having or using two colors.

The term appears in art history and archaeology to describe pottery, textiles, or other objects decorated in exactly two colors: bichrome vases from ancient Greece.

The prefix bi- (two) plus chrome (color) makes the meaning transparent.
