armouries
Military equipment repositories
Armouries is the British spelling of armories, the plural of armoury.
An armoury is a place where weapons and military equipment are stored, or a collection of weapons itself.
The term extends to any impressive collection of resources or tools at one's disposal: She has a whole armoury of techniques for dealing with difficult customers.
In some countries, armouries also serve as headquarters for military reserve units or as venues for public events.
