Star Wars Day
May Fourth observance
Star Wars Day is May 4th, an unofficial holiday celebrating the Star Wars franchise.
The date derives from the pun "May the Fourth be with you," playing on the films' iconic blessing "May the Force be with you." Fans mark the day by watching the movies, dressing as characters, and posting on social media: Happy Star Wars Day!
