Shonda Rhimes
Shonda Rhimes is an American television producer and screenwriter, creator of hit dramas including *Grey's Anatomy*, *Scandal*, and *How to Get Away with Murder*.
Her name has become shorthand for a certain style of prestige network television—fast-paced dialogue, diverse casts, and soapy plot twists: It's very Shonda Rhimes.
She founded the production company Shondaland.
