Shenandoah Valley

Appalachian mountain corridor

A fertile valley in Virginia between the Blue Ridge and Allegheny Mountains, stretching roughly 150 miles along the Shenandoah River.

The valley was a major corridor during the American Civil War and remains important for agriculture and tourism.

We drove through the Shenandoah Valley during fall foliage season.
