Reform Jews
Progressive Jewish movement
Reform Jews are adherents of Reform Judaism, a branch of Judaism that emerged in 19th-century Germany and emphasizes adaptation to modern life.
Reform Judaism treats Jewish law as evolving rather than fixed, ordains women and openly gay rabbis, and focuses on ethical principles over ritual observance.
It is the largest Jewish denomination in the United States: My parents are Reform Jews, so I didn't have a traditional religious upbringing.
