Peter Cushing
Peter Cushing (1913–1994) was a British actor best known for horror films, particularly his collaborations with Hammer Film Productions.
He portrayed Van Helsing in numerous Dracula films opposite Christopher Lee and played Baron Frankenstein in a long-running series.
Later audiences know him as Grand Moff Tarkin in *Star Wars* (1977).
His gaunt features and precise, intellectual screen presence made him ideal for scientists, scholars, and aristocratic villains.
