Laurence Olivier
Laurence Olivier (1907–1989) was a British actor and director widely regarded as the greatest English-speaking performer of the twentieth century.
He dominated stage and screen for five decades, renowned for his Shakespearean roles—particularly Hamlet, Richard III, and Othello.
His name became synonymous with theatrical excellence: He fancies himself the Laurence Olivier of community theater.
