Obelix
Obelix is a fictional character from the French comic series *Astérix*, created by René Goscinny and Albert Uderzo.
He is the large, rotund, menhir-delivering best friend of the titular hero Asterix.
Having fallen into a cauldron of magic potion as a baby, Obelix possesses permanent superhuman strength.
He is inseparable from his small dog Dogmatix and fond of roast wild boar.
