Moslems

Followers of Islam

Moslems is an older spelling of Muslims, referring to followers of Islam.

The spelling reflects earlier English transliteration from Arabic.

While not incorrect, Muslim has become the standard form since the late twentieth century, and Moslem now appears dated or uninformed: The Moslems of the Ottoman Empire.
