non-believers

Those without faith

Non-believers are people who don't accept a particular faith or religious doctrine.

The term is most often used from a religious perspective to describe those outside the faith: The missionary sought to convert non-believers.

It can also apply to skeptics of any belief system: Non-believers in climate change dismiss the scientific consensus.
