Livingstone
Victoria Falls discoverer
Livingstone is a Scottish surname, most famously borne by David Livingstone, the 19th-century explorer and missionary in Africa.
His name survives in the greeting Dr. Livingstone, I presume? —journalist Henry Stanley's words upon finding him in 1871, now used humorously when encountering someone in an unexpected place.
