ISDN

Pre-broadband digital connection

ISDN stands for Integrated Services Digital Network, a telecommunications standard that carried voice, video, and data over traditional phone lines.

It offered faster, more reliable connections than dial-up modems and was widely used for internet access and videoconferencing in the 1990s before being displaced by broadband technologies like DSL and cable.
