French deck
Fifty-two card set
A French deck is the standard 52-card playing card deck used throughout most of the world, featuring four suits—hearts, diamonds, clubs, and spades—with thirteen ranks each: ace through ten plus jack, queen, and king.
The name distinguishes it from regional decks like the German, Spanish, or Italian, which have different suits and card counts.
Most poker, blackjack, and bridge games use French decks.
