joker
Deck's extra card
A joker is someone who jokes—a person inclined toward humor or pranks: He's always been the joker of the group.
In card games, a joker is a wild card, typically depicting a jester, that can substitute for other cards.
By extension, a joker can mean an unpredictable element or hidden factor: There's always a joker in the deck.
The word also dismisses someone as insignificant or foolish: Who's this joker?
