Ibrahim
Quranic ancestor figure
Ibrahim is the Arabic form of Abraham, used as a given name throughout the Muslim world and among Arabic-speaking Christians.
It appears in the Quran as the name of the patriarch who built the Kaaba with his son Ismail.
The name remains common from Morocco to Indonesia: Ibrahim was the third caliph of the Umayyad dynasty.
