Covent Garden

Royal Opera's home

Covent Garden is a district in central London known for its market, shops, and street performers.

It is also shorthand for the Royal Opera House located there, home to the Royal Ballet and Royal Opera: We have tickets to Covent Garden tonight.

The name derives from a medieval convent garden that once occupied the site.
