Catawba

Musky native grape

Catawba refers to an indigenous people of the Carolinas, or a member of that people, or their Siouan language.

It also names a variety of red grape native to the eastern United States, and the light wine made from it: a glass of Catawba.

The Catawba River flows through North and South Carolina.
