Carolinian
Palmetto State native
Carolinian refers to a person from or thing related to either North Carolina or South Carolina in the United States.
The term applies equally to both states: a native Carolinian, Carolinian hospitality.
It also describes the Carolinian forest zone, a temperate ecological region spanning parts of eastern North America characterized by deciduous hardwoods.
