Savannah River
Augusta's flowing border
The Savannah River forms most of the border between Georgia and South Carolina, flowing about 300 miles from the Blue Ridge Mountains to the Atlantic Ocean at Savannah, Georgia.
The river gives its name to the coastal city and has shaped regional commerce, serving as a major shipping channel.
We took a boat tour on the Savannah River.
