CART

Defunct IndyCar rival

A cart is a vehicle with two or four wheels, typically pulled by an animal or pushed by hand, used for transporting goods: a shopping cart, a horse and cart.

The verb means to carry or haul, often with effort or reluctance: We carted boxes up three flights of stairs.

To put the cart before the horse is to do things in the wrong order.
