Berliners
German capital residents
Berliners are residents or natives of Berlin, Germany's capital.
The word also refers to a type of jelly-filled doughnut, round and typically topped with powdered sugar or icing—called a Berliner in much of Germany, though Berliners themselves use other names for it.
The Berliners we met were friendly and spoke excellent English.
