All Hallows

Saints' feast day

All Hallows is an old name for All Saints' Day, the Christian feast on November 1 honoring all saints.

The eve of All Hallows—All Hallows' Eve—became Halloween.

The term survives mainly in historical or religious contexts: the church of All Hallows by the Tower.
