A380

Largest passenger plane

The A380 is a double-deck, wide-body passenger aircraft manufactured by Airbus, and the world's largest commercial airliner.

It can carry over 500 passengers in typical configurations and more than 800 in all-economy layouts.

The superjumbo entered service in 2007 but production ended in 2021 as airlines shifted toward smaller, more fuel-efficient twin-engine jets.

The A380 is popular on high-density routes like Dubai to London.
