Boeing 787
Wide-body commercial jet
The Boeing 787, also called the Dreamliner, is a wide-body commercial aircraft designed for long-haul flights.
It entered service in 2011 and was notable for its extensive use of composite materials rather than aluminum, improving fuel efficiency.
The 787 is recognizable by its distinctive curved wingtips and larger windows: We flew the 787 from Los Angeles to Tokyo.
