wikitext
Wikipedia source code
Wikitext is the markup language used to format pages on Wikipedia and other wikis.
Writers use simple symbols—brackets for links, apostrophes for bold and italics, equal signs for headings—rather than HTML.
The term also refers to content written in this format: I'll clean up the wikitext later.
Also called wiki markup.
