wikicode
Wikipedia formatting language
Wikicode is the markup language used to format and structure content on wikis, particularly Wikipedia.
It uses symbols and syntax to create links, headings, bold text, and other formatting: Add double brackets around the title to create a wikicode link.
The term distinguishes raw editable markup from the rendered page visitors see.
