webisodes
Streaming show installments
Webisodes are episodes of a series produced specifically for online distribution rather than television broadcast.
The term blends "web" and "episodes." Webisodes may be original content or supplementary material extending a TV show's universe: The network released webisodes between seasons to keep fans engaged.
The format typically features shorter runtimes than traditional episodes.
