Breath-linked yoga movements
Vinyasas is the plural of vinyasa, a term from yoga describing a flowing sequence of poses synchronized with breath.
A vinyasa class moves continuously from one posture to the next, unlike styles that hold poses statically.
The word also refers to specific transitional movements linking poses: The instructor guided us through three vinyasas between each standing sequence.
