Email exit door
An unsubscribe link is a clickable element in an email, usually at the bottom, that lets recipients opt out of future messages.
Commercial emails are legally required to include one.
The link typically leads to a confirmation page or immediately removes the address from the mailing list: I finally found the unsubscribe link buried in tiny gray text.
