uncountable

Cannot be tallied

Uncountable describes things that cannot be counted individually—usually because they exist as masses, abstractions, or infinite quantities.

In grammar, uncountable nouns (also called mass nouns) don't take plural forms or indefinite articles: you say water not a water, information not informations.

In mathematics, an uncountable set is infinite in a way that cannot be matched one-to-one with natural numbers—the real numbers are uncountable, while integers are merely infinite.
