tweaks

Small setting changes

Tweaks are small adjustments or fine-tunings, usually to improve something that's already mostly working: a few tweaks to the recipe, The software needs some tweaks before release.

To tweak is to make such adjustments, or to pinch and twist sharply: She tweaked his nose.

In slang, tweaking means behaving erratically, especially from stimulant drugs like methamphetamine: He was up all night tweaking.
