townhome
Wall-sharing residence
A townhome is a house that shares one or more walls with adjacent units but has its own entrance and typically multiple floors.
The term is largely interchangeable with townhouse, though townhome often appears in real estate marketing to emphasize ownership rather than rental: We bought a townhome in the new development.
Unlike condos, townhomes usually include the land beneath them.
