terrace house
Shared-wall urban home
A terrace house is a row house—one of a series of attached houses sharing side walls, built as a continuous unit.
The term is standard in British, Australian, and New Zealand English: Victorian terrace houses line the street.
American English prefers "row house" or "townhouse" for the same style.
