tongue twister
Tricky repeated sounds
A tongue twister is a phrase or sentence designed to be difficult to say quickly, usually because of similar or repeated sounds: She sells seashells by the seashore.
The challenge comes from sounds that trip up the tongue when spoken rapidly.
Children use them as games; actors and singers use them as vocal warm-ups.
