midget
Very small individual
A midget is a very small person, specifically one with proportionate body parts (unlike a dwarf, whose limbs are shorter relative to the torso).
The word is now considered offensive by many people with dwarfism, who prefer *little person* or simply *person of short stature*.
Midget also describes anything unusually small: midget submarines, a midget racing car.
