tissue formation
Cells becoming organs
Tissue formation is the biological process by which cells organize into structured tissues.
During embryonic development, cells differentiate and arrange themselves into the four basic tissue types: epithelial, connective, muscle, and nervous.
The term also applies to wound healing and regeneration, where new tissue replaces damaged areas: Scar tissue formation began within days of the injury.
