Ski slope conveyance
A t-bar is a ski lift with a T-shaped bar that hangs from a moving cable; skiers lean against the crossbar while being pulled uphill.
The term also describes any T-shaped fastener, handle, or structural element: t-bar sandals have a strap running from toe to ankle crossed by another at the instep.
