Front closure describes a fastening mechanism positioned at the front of a garment rather than the back or side.
The term appears most often with bras, where a front-closure bra hooks or clasps between the cups: She prefers front-closure bras because they're easier to put on.
Front closure also applies to other garments with buttons, zippers, or snaps down the front.
