stockfeed

Livestock dietary supply

Stockfeed is food for livestock—grain, hay, silage, or processed feed given to cattle, sheep, pigs, and other farm animals.

The term is more common in British, Australian, and New Zealand English than American: The drought drove up stockfeed prices.

Also written as two words: stock feed.
