ski slope
Snowy downhill trail
A ski slope is an incline of snow-covered terrain used for downhill skiing or snowboarding.
Slopes are graded by difficulty—green circles for beginners, blue squares for intermediate, black diamonds for advanced.
The term extends to the entire skiable area: We hit the ski slopes at dawn.
Also called a run or piste.
