flat ground
No hills here
Flat ground is terrain without significant slope or elevation change—level land you can walk, build, or play on without accounting for incline.
The phrase often implies suitability for activities that require a stable, horizontal surface: We found some flat ground to pitch the tent.
Athletes train on flat ground before tackling hills.
