ENT specialist
Head-and-neck physician
An ENT specialist is a doctor who treats conditions of the ear, nose, and throat—the interconnected passages of the head and neck.
ENT stands for ear, nose, and throat.
The formal medical term is otolaryngologist, but ENT specialist or simply ENT is more common in everyday speech: My doctor referred me to an ENT for my chronic sinus problems.
