scene partner
Fellow performer onstage
A scene partner is the actor you're performing with in a scene—the person whose lines you respond to and who responds to yours.
The term comes from theater and film but extends to acting classes and auditions: We rehearsed together until we really trusted each other as scene partners.
Good chemistry with a scene partner can elevate a performance; poor rapport can sink it.
