Rinks is the plural of rink, an enclosed surface for skating or playing certain sports.
An ice rink is frozen for skating or hockey; a roller rink has a smooth floor for roller skating.
In curling, a rink is both the playing surface and the team of four players: Two rinks from our club are competing this weekend.
