adult league
Seniors-only sports organization
An adult league is an organized sports competition for participants beyond youth age, typically 18 or older.
Adult leagues exist for nearly every sport—softball, soccer, basketball, hockey—and range from highly competitive to purely recreational.
Many emphasize social connection as much as athletics: I joined an adult kickball league to meet people after moving to the city.
